# TeaKin > TeaKin is a tea app for tea people: a map of tea places worth finding, a tea lexicon with sources, and a private Passport to log every cup. Places and teas are picked by tea people, not by crowds, and listings are never for sale. TeaKin is in closed beta from November 17 to December 14, 2026. ## What TeaKin is - A mobile-first web app. It runs in the phone's browser; nothing to install. App address: https://app.teakin.app - Map: curated tea places (tea houses, tea shops, plantations, markets). Places are marked "Visited by TeaKin" or "Not yet visited". Searchable by alternative names (for example, Tung Ting finds Dong Ding). - Passport: a private log of tastings with optional rating and taste profile, plus lists for "Want to try", "Visited" and "Want to visit". Only the user can see it. - No feed, no followers, no streaks. - Places and teas are curated by Nik.
